This exploratory, interdisciplinary workshop brings together a small and diverse group of academic researchers and practitioners in ECEC and child development to identify intersecting research priorities. Through network-building and project scoping, we will determine how we can make the most effective evidence-based recommendations for policy and practice, and support the sector in meeting the evolving needs of young children and their families within our changing social, political, and economic context.

We are pleased to announce our online two half-day workshop on “Late talkers: Interdisciplinary approaches to understand early language delay” that will take place the 23rd and 24th of August 2021, from 13:45 pm - 17:30 pm BST.

That is why we have joined forces with alumni and staff members from the Universidad Iberoamericana (Mexico City, Mexico) to share with you a modern and committed vision of the world.

The role of vocabulary breadth and depth in children’s achievement at school and beyond is well recognised. One way of enriching vocabulary is through a rich system of descriptive language.
